Agreement
By accessing or using ReelWorkshop you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
ReelWorkshop helps you import your own clips, arrange and preview short-form compilations, and export vertical MP4s. Editing and rendering run in your browser. Signed-in users may also store projects, source clips, and exports in a private account workspace. ReelWorkshop does not generate source footage for you.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create security or abuse risk.
Your content
- You retain ownership of the clips and exports you create or upload.
- You grant ReelWorkshop a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service you request (for example storage, signed downloads, and render-job tracking).
- You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and process the footage, including permissions for people appearing in it where required.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload or process unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Attempt to break into, disrupt, or overload the service or other users’ accounts.
- Misrepresent identity, plan entitlements, or payment status.
- Reverse engineer or abuse the product in ways that circumvent plan limits or security controls.
Plans, limits, and payments
Free local editing and previewing may be available without export entitlements. Paid plans (when offered) include stated storage and export-minute allowances. Limits are enforced by the service. If online payment is not connected, the product will say so and should not charge a card. When checkout is connected, fees are processed by the payment provider under that provider’s terms; subscription status is used to unlock plan features.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep ReelWorkshop available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features, limits, branding, and domains may change. We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Browser memory, device capability, and third-party platform requirements can affect imports, previews, and exports.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELWORKSHOP AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO REELWORKSHOP FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify ReelWorkshop and its operators against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction are the venue for disputes that cannot be resolved informally, except where prohibited.
