- A mid-point stage where something visually distinct happened (walls up, roof on)
- Finishing details — fixtures, paint, flooring going in
- The completed space, ideally filmed from the same angle as the first clip
That last point matters more than it sounds: if you can match your final walkthrough to roughly the same camera position and framing as your opening clip, the before-and-after contrast does most of the storytelling work for you.
Ordering and pacing

Trimming and quality checks

Export settings
Export vertical at 1080x1920 for the sharpest detail — construction progress content lives or dies on the viewer being able to actually see the change, so don't drop to the lower resolution unless file size is a real constraint. Mute source audio on clips with heavy tool or machinery noise and consider keeping audio only on the walkthrough clips where a voice or ambient room sound adds context.
